New For 2015… Yoga with Carmen!

As you all know, I’ve got fibro and I’ve got it bad. So, I decided that I need Yoga in my life.  And I decided I want all my students to have it too! So… We’ve got a brand new class at Love 2 Dance! Beginner ‪Yoga‬ with Carmen is every Friday at 6:30 PM for only $5!

BUT, in order to make sure we can pay our lovely Carmen, we need at least 3 people pre-registered to come to class each week. So bring a friend and share this with everyone you think needs Yoga in their lives! You can register at http://love2dancefit.com/schedule/. It’s quick, easy AND we accept debit and credit!

Whether you have never taken a yoga class before or you enjoy the relaxed pace of a beginner class, our Yoga fundamental class is for you! Focus is on the back, neck, and shoulders, as well as standing and sitting postures. Using breathing and warm ups with simple yoga stretches, you will learn to relax the muscles of your body and improve your overall health and well being.
Carmen will works on a variety of poses depending on our weekly needs. Variations are given based on our needs and ability so don’t worry about being able to keep up. Each class ends with a quiet relaxation.

Bring a mat and see you on Friday!

Firstly it’s important to understand that there are 3 types of abdominal fat:
  1. Visceral fat: This protects and supports the organs within the body and makes up the majority of your belly fat. It is the type of fat that, in excess, can lead to cardiovascular disease.
  2. Subcutaneous fat: This is deep below the skin; usually found in large amounts on the hips, thighs and buttocks. This is the second most dangerous fat as it poses a much lower risk of chronic health problems than visceral fat.
  3. Intramuscular fat: This is not common in the abdominal area, but can be found within the abdominal muscles. Excessive amounts of this can be linked to a higher risk of diabetes.”
