God Bless and Take Care
I received this wonderful e-mail from an amazing man. I just had to share:
I John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” (Hosea 4:6)The news past weeks has focused on a group calling themselves the “Guardians of Peace” who hacked into Sony’s data and stole emails, some of which they subsequently made available to the media. The hacker group threatened more actions if the movie, “The Interview” was not withdrawn from being shown in theaters.
Sony’s movie “The Interview” which has a plot involving the assassination of President Kim Jong-Un of North Korea was forced to withdraw its showing because major theaters feared possible retribution because of hacker threats believed to originate from North Korea. Sony is now allowing some independent theaters to show the film over the holiday season, and it is also being made available online.
There is a more serious and dangerous situation occurring in the world beside what is seemingly generated by Hollywood. It is amazing that a movie about a petty, deranged dictator is capturing the attention of everyone when many more troubles affecting millions of people are going on right now.
Isis is cutting off the heads of children and raping and enslaving young girls. They are taking advantage of the racial unrest in the United States, and they are recruiting young men and women in Ferguson to go and fight for the Islamic State. They and other Islamic groups like them are corrupting youth in the U.S., Canada, Britain, and all through Europe.
Our newspapers or broadcasts on radio and television in the United States do not tend to report this to any great degree. Consequently, many who follow the news and sincerely want a grasp of what is happening in the world no longer read the local newspapers or watch the network produced news programs. Most young adults if they really care about the news go to the internet, and if one searches, it is there.
More and more people in the United States live in a vacuum and the world they see around them is a world made up by Hollywood and the media. The mega media-complex when it is coordinated and cohesive has the power to stir up resentment, hatred, and even violence, or create cooperation and peace. This is wickedness.
And this is the world we live in today. I John 2:15 tells us: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The prophet Hosea wrote: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” (Hosea 4:6) What are we thinking about or what’s on our minds???
We cannot close our eyes or shut our ears to the news of the world, but we must not buy into much of the fluff and hype produced in the midst of it all. Rather, those things should irritate our souls as it did Lot and and others through the ages.
I know God’s people are quite aware of the times even as the Apostle Paul wrote in I Thes. 5:1 “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.MAY GOD BLESS U, ALWAYS…

I love this question asked by Ana Masacote of Masacote Entertainment out of Boston. She is a beautiful, talented dancer who has inspired me more than she knows.
“What do you feel when you dance?”
I feel freedom when I dance.
I’ve got fibromyalgia so every day of my life is filled with pain.
But when I dance, I am free of pain.
I’m filled with joy.
I’m connected to my partner…
and the music…
and the energy of all the dancers around me…
I feel beautiful…
I feel loved…
and I feel blessed to have this gift of dance. It is an amazing outlet.
So tell me, what do you feel when YOU dance?
God Bless and Take Care
P.S. Comment below, please. Love it? Hate it? Indifferent? I’d love to know what you think!
